How To Find Legitimate Dropshippers

I would have to say the biggest question I get from "would be" Internet business owners is; "How do I find legitimate dropshippers"? This seemed to be the biggest road block that was faced by people that wanted to set up a dropshipping business. There are many sources online, and many different businesses telling you to "find products here", or "buy this wholesale list, and save thousands" etc.. Most of them are garbage. I would venture and say 95% of them are garbage (at least the ones I have personally come across).

If you ever come across a listing on eBay that says "42 inch plasma TV for $100.00 run far away, and never look back. It is a scam, and all they are trying to do is take your money. I know you have seen the lists that say you can get access to these amazing electronic products for only $1, but the sad reality is these people prey on those looking to find the next "amazing deal" and when you get the list its full of URLS that are bogus or no longer working. They figure you only spend a buck and are not going to report them to eBay or anything so they keep doing it. What if 1000 people a day bought this list from these scammers on eBay though? The dollar has added up huh? That is $7000 bucks a week, and they are scamming people. Do not buy from these sources even if you think you only are risking a buck. That is what keeps them in business.

By the time people find a legitimate list of dropshippers they have been burned so many times by these worthless companies they are super-hesitant to work with them (even if they are 100% legit).

I have worked with clients that have lost thousands of dollars to places that offer "products at wholesale" and they have never got a dime back. These companies prey on the beginner. The person who finds a "to good to be true" offer on the Internet through a "Google search" (because they are to cheap to invest in a legitimate dropshipping list) should take it for what it is - "to good to be true" and walk away.

If you are thinking about working with a dropship company then I need you to make sure of a couple of things:

* Have they registered their business with the BBB?

* Do they have some sort of "quality" standard?

* Do they "qualify" every single supplier on their list?

* How often do they update their supplier list?

* Are they giving you just a "list" or a full service?

* Are they doing anything to educate you in dropshipping?

I have been in this industry for so long that I want to make sure people are not taken for another dime. It sickens me when I hear about another "so called" dropshipping company that has scammed someone out of thousands of dollars. Most of the people I deal with, do not have the money to be wasting (and that ones that do have the money don't want it wasted on a scammer). They have ever penny budgeted and going towards something to help them in the set up of their new Internet business venture.
